Educational Qualification and Experience
Accountant — 06 Posts
- Graduate degree.
- Intermediate pass of CA/ICWA.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Accounts work after passing Intermediate CA/ICWA.
- Basic computer proficiency and SAP-FICO proficiency are desirable.
Technician (Survey) — 12 Posts
- ITI in Survey or Diploma in Survey.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in Survey is prescribed.
Technician (Sampling) — 07 Posts
- B.Sc. degree.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in drill core/mine sampling.
Technician (Laboratory) — 02 Posts
- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics or Geology.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in chemical, petrological, mineralogical or similar laboratories.
Assistant (Materials) — 16 Posts
- Graduate with Mathematics or B.Com.

- ITI certificate in Turner, Machinist, Grinder or Miller trade; OR Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production or Tool & Die Engineering.

- Experience should relate to machine shop/manufacturing workshop activities.
Technician (Drilling) — 12 Posts
- ITI in Mechanic (Earth Moving Machinery), Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter; OR Diploma in Drilling or Mechanical Engineering.
- Valid HMV Licence.
- Minimum 1 year post-qualification relevant experience in operation or maintenance of drilling equipment.
Mechanic — 01 Post
- ITI in Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter; OR Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Valid HMV Licence.
- Minimum 1 year relevant post-qualification experience.
- Apprenticeship experience may be considered subject to notification conditions.
Mechanic-cum-Operator (Drilling) — 30 Posts
- ITI in Mechanic (Earth Moving Machinery), Diesel Mechanic, Motor Mechanic or Fitter; OR Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile or Drilling Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in diesel/motor mechanic, fitter or drilling trade after ITI.
- Apprenticeship experience may be admissible subject to the conditions of the notification.
Junior Driver — 06 Posts
- 10th Class pass.
- Valid LMV Licence and valid HMV Licence.
- Minimum 1 year consolidated experience in driving light and heavy vehicles.
- Knowledge of motor mechanism and minor vehicle repairs is desirable.
Assistant (IT) — 03 Posts
- Degree in BCA, BCS, BCCA, B.Sc. Computer Science/IT/Computer Applications or Bachelor of Information System & Management (BISM) from a recognized university; OR
- Graduation in any stream with a minimum 1-year Diploma or PG Diploma in IT, Computer Science or Computer Applications from a recognized Board/University.

Assistant (HR) — 03 Posts
- BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BBM or BSW.
- Degree should satisfy the recognition requirements specified in the notification.

Selection Process
MECL has prescribed the following selection stages for the Non-Executive recruitment:
- Screening of Applications: Applications are screened as Eligible or Not Eligible based on the information submitted online.
- Written Competitive Examination: The written test carries 100% weightage in the final merit.
- Document Verification: Candidates clearing the written test are called for document verification, ordinarily up to a 1:7 ratio according to merit and the number of candidates available.

- Final Merit List: The final merit is prepared on the basis of written-test marks among candidates found suitable in the Skill/Trade Test.
